10am-12pm VR portion & 1pm -3pm Workshop Portion

Located at the Main Campus of Great Falls College:

2100 16th Ave S Classroom 1500, Great Falls, MT 59405

We are excited to share that CASA-CAN is collaborating with the Department of Child and Family Services to host an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) training experience here in Great Falls. This training is designed to place you directly in the shoes of a caseworker responding to a report of child abuse or neglect.

Through the VR simulation, participants will experience what it’s like to receive a report, visit the home, ask questions, assess the environment, and ultimately make the critical decision of whether or not to remove a child. This powerful tool helps build a deeper understanding of the complexity and weight of the decisions caseworkers make every day.

The VR experience is approximately 15–20 minutes long, followed by a 3-hour in-person workshop and debrief led by Child and Family Services trainers—those who train new social workers across the state.

*There are limited spots available for this training - please only register if you are able to attend the VR portion and the workshop in the afternoon.*
